Boiling and Condensation
in Microchannels

The UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council has awarded a grant of total value £1.02M to a consortium of research groups at the Universities of Brunel, Edinburgh, Heriot Watt, Nottingham and Queen Mary London to study flow boiling and condensation in microchannels. The industrial partners for the project are ANSYS, Selex-SAS, CE Technologies, Chart Heat Exchangers, Chaltherm, Freescale, Modine, Thermacore Europe and Wieland, who will contribute additional resources of £0.18M.
